Just wondering if you have noticed how terribly fearful some Christians are of these endtimes we are living in. I have seen
some frantically searching for 'what to do', just who will be the anti-christ, false prophet, etc. They have some unscriptural and
bizarre ideas as a rule.
I am excited too , to be chosen to live in these days. It is very
thrilling to see all of these old prophecies come to pass right before our eyes. I know there were some of the early day Christians
who would have given anything to be alive just now!

I believe we either have to trust God or not. There is no fence to get on just now. We will either be for Him or against Him. We will either serve Him, or we will not.

Some believe the apostasy or great 'falling away' from the church is happening. I believe that also, and believe it sort of crept up slowly without most of us realizing it.

We can look to the future with hope and faith in God. If we can't trust Him in the times ahead, then how on earth could we trust Him
with our eternal salvation?

This fear doesn't make sense to me, and I just wanted to see what the rest of you are seeing within your churches, in the news, forums, and family and friends.

Hi 123four,

Great posting, Great topic!

This forum is really going to go a lot into the direction of end times and what our role in the end times is.

Christian attitudes are defiantly changing.

I think one major aspect is that Christians are now beginning to realize that we will Never find favor with the world and that Christians know that we are going to be criticized for any and every thing that we do and every stand that we take. I see more and more Christians rejecting this world and the ways and approval of this world and seeking their fellowship with God, His approval, and the fellow company with the other children of God.

There is a really good song I cant remember all the words to it I think Camdons Call sings it, it might even be called This World some of the words are.. This world (earth) has nothing for me but this world (Heaven) has everything. Everything that I want and everything that I desire. Then it has a line about this word (earth) has a spirit of fear and that he is rejecting this spirit of fear. I thought that is very appropriate that this world wants us to live in fear and worry.

For us Christians who have read the Bible and know that it concludes with our Eternity with the Loving God in Heaven it really makes fear and worry a thing of the past.

God Bless You,

David

Right. Knowing the end of the story does help considerably!
We may have some hard times in the not too distant future. Christians have had hard times before and God has led them thru it. He will do it again.
